I bought this case because I wanted a "frame" for my iPad. I wanted it to look nice, keep it a bit cleaner, help the screen stay unscratched, and offer light protection. I carry my iPad in my purse 24/7, so it takes a fair bit of abuse. My 7-year old daughter likes to use it too, again, more abuse. So a light case is only going to go so far. But this case does what I wanted it to do.
Best features:
1) Looks GREAT! I get compliments all the time. Love the color. The perfect red.
2) Feels great. Nice, smooth leather. Not plasticy, not stiff, not fakey.
3) Light protection. The screen stays protected with the rigid front cover. Keeps it from getting scratched in my purse.
4) Snap close: Has never popped open.
5) Inside lining: The inside of the case has a black fabric lining that lays against the iPad. The iPad slides in and out easily and I don't worry about it scratching. I don't have to wrestle the cover on and off for charging. It slides nicely.
6) Kickstand: Works great -- has never fallen down while I'm using it. The different notches are more about visual appeal than usefulness I think. I just use the last one. And I do use it a lot to read or watch a movie or type.
7) Price: AWESOME price. Seriously, just buy it. I paid $20 gladly, and now its down to $10. Buy it.
Could be better:
1) Light protection. Maybe too light for my lifestyle. If I drop it, the case really isn't going to do much. And the top corners where the case doesn't cover are getting chipped.
2) The case is open at the top when you're using it, and the iPad could slide out. It hasn't yet, but it has come close. Would have been easy to make the snap flap work with the cover open and closed, wonder why they didn't.
3) What's with the useless inside pockets???? I was a bit afrais they'd scratch the screen but the haven't. Still, you can't use them for anything but a single business card, and it leaves designs in the finger smears on my screen. Not a real issue, just an oddity.
Unless you need a heavy duty case with lots of padding for travel, this case will suit your needs. It's gorgeous and it protects from light/regular adult use.

This case for iPad is great. I was looking for the red one and I was happy to find it. It is durable and you can adjust the angle of your iPad to the position you want - it may serve as a stand when you want to watch the movies or slide show on your iPad.

The description said 'leather' when it is actually leatherette. I bought two and decided to keep them because price was right and function is exactly what I was looking for. Gave four stars for function only. 0 stars for ad accuracy.

This is poorly designed, doesn't stand up and not even what I ordered originally.
They substituted this item for the more expensive iPad case which I ordered and
paid for. Company is difficult to deal with, only available via email. I would not
buy from them again.
