Superb Backup Device September 8, 2010 E. Weisser (New Jersey) I purchased this device because my PC is getting old and I didn't want to risk losing all my pics, music, documents, etc. with one fatal crash. It is so simple to use! Just plug into the USB port and away it goes. No software to install. You can leave it attached, or set a reminder for whatever date range you want. First backup took about 30-40 minutes (I only had about 10G on my hard drive). I would imagine subsequent backups will take less, since it only updates changes. Well worth the $80.
Clickfree August 31, 2010 R. Aguirre (PETALUMA, CA, US) Clickfree is the most easy to use product for backup I've found to date. Got one for my parents to use also and they are able to back up their computer with no problems now.
Problem with transferring August 27, 2010 L. Pittman (Baton Rouge, LA USA) I bought this Click Free last year for my Dell laptop. Everything backed up very easily. My problem with it is when I try to transfer the data to my new Apple MacBook Pro. When I connect it to my new computer, I get the following message - "The disc you inserted was not readable by this computer." That's it. Nothing is transferred or can be transferred. I called technical services for Click Free, was on hold for a long time, finally was able to leave a message for a return call. I was guaranteed a return phone call within 24 hours. Still waiting.
Music backup is limited August 24, 2010 root66nj I wanted to use the click free backup to transfer my data to a new computer. After completing the transfer I checked my music files in iTunes and could not find my playlists. I had 60-70 playlists with 20-30 songs each. After contacting click free customer service I was told it does not back up playlists. How lame is that?
Empty folders?? August 10, 2010 dreamreader0061 After backing up my data, and pictures, I went to retrieve them. What I got was all my folders, but they were all empty? Anyone else have this problem and or knows how to fix it? I do not trust this system.
