 Glad I bought this case. July 14, 2010
I purchased this after reading reviews about this and other netbook cases.
I didn't want a sleeve(why they call this a sleeve...I don't know)
because I wanted a case to carry all my accessories.
This is perfect. It easily and safely holds a mouse, power source,
portable CD drive and my new Gateway 11.6". Buy this and you won't be disappointed.

I bought this case about 3 weeks ago to carry an ASUS 1201N netbook I bought at the same time. It is very light and holds quite a bit of stuff, like a power cable and various USB accessories. It has a handy little pocket inside the main compartment into which my Kindle ebook reader fits perfectly.
I was unsure about which case to get, but this one is perfect for my needs and I recommend it.

I've had this sleeve for a few months now and while the sleeve is OK for the most part, there is one serious design flaw - the latches that attach the shoulder strap to the sleeve are CHEAP and thus EASILY COME UNDONE. I had it happened to me - one latch came undone suddenly and the sleeve fell two feet onto the concrete pavement, denting my aluminum MacbookPro carried within at the corner.
This is unacceptable. I've had an inexpensive Targus laptop bag for eight years and I never had this happened to me because the Targus latches are better designed, better made, and of higher quality. Now I will need to fix the latches on this sleeve so they will never come undone. Even if it means I will not be able to remove the strap.
So a fair warning to all, protect your laptop and get something else or fix the latches on this sleeve so they STAY SHUT!

This is a great product for my 12.1" laptop. It's well padded and well-made. It beats those sleeves anyday, because you have room for folders, a mouse, charger, or other things you might need to take along!
