Great memory, reliable so far July 28, 2010 dsurur (Madison, NJ) I bought a Toshiba netbook 3 or 4 months ago, with the usual 1 GB RAM memory. As you may imagine, it worked slowly...
After reading other reviews I decided to upgrade the RAM (highly recommended !)
I changed the original memory to this 2 Gb Crucial one in just 3 minutes. No problems of compatibility, the netbook just took it as the native one at the first attempt. Then, the speed of my neetbook improved significantly...
It's been almost two months using it daily and it worked fine so far.
Great Value and performance July 27, 2010 Rohit Tole (USA) Bought two modules to upgrade my Toshiba A215 laptop. Very easy to install. Instantly recognized with full capacity of 4GB in Windows Vista 32 bit. The Vista performace index increased by two points for the memory. I was using 1GB PC2 5300 DDR2 667 ( 2 * 512MB modules). This was the perfect upgrade for the laptop. The difference is noticeable in the applications like ACDsee Pro 3, google Earth and games like Counter Strike. Photo editing performace has noticably increased and I hope to get better performance on my Linux boot CDs too.
Overall I would highly recommend these memory modules for their value and performance. Better to buy two of these instead of the ones maked as "Matched Pair" on other listings.
Works Perfectly July 19, 2010 K. Jancaitis (Greenville, SC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to upgrade my new Asus EeePC 1005HA. I have never worked on computers before, but was able to install this in less than 5 minutes; at least 3 minutes was spent searching for a small enough screwdriver to open the back of my netbook. I did have to go to the BIOS screen to get the netbook to recognize it, but no problems. Definitely worth the 50 for the extra 1gb!
worked like a charm July 17, 2010 Brian Maslak (good old u.s.a) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful

****Heads Up To HP Mini 210 Owners****!!!!! July 16, 2010 ClownBaby ###Warning### This may be the greatest product ever, but I want to document a problem which can be very misleading to mini 210 owners (NOT HD!!!!).
I bought this memory for my HP mini 210-1040NR (NOT HD!!!!). After seeing positive reviews from other mini 210 owners, I decided it was a safe buy. WRONG! It doesn't work for my model despite the fact that crucial states that it does on their own website.
This memory (PC2-6400) is 800Hz while the stock memory is 667Hz. I have seen lots of information online which states that the 800Hz stick will work. Maybe it does for Mini 210 HD owners, hence the repetitive (NOT HD) warning. I thought a higher speed would give better performance. Instead, it's no performance.
Like I said, this could be a great product but it's not for me. HP doesn't even say that this model's memory can be upgraded even though it can be. I will be exchanging this memory for the 667Hz version because I have seen positive reviews of that product where users have bought it after making the same mistake I did. The problem is that there are no negative reviews for this product warning other users.
Thanks,
CB
