It Works! March 9, 2010 Luther Leong Bought this module for my Acer 1410 w/ Windows 7, however, I didn't realize Windows 7 doesn't make use of the full 4GB (came w/ 2GB and my Home Premium is a 32-Bit OS - you need the 64-bit version to run 4GB or more) that this raises my laptop capacity to, so it was somewhat of a waste in the sense that I'm able to use more, but not quite the full 4GB. Windows 7 is utilizing about 3.3 GB of the installed ram, so I'm not unhappy. For the cost, I believe it was worthwhile. The module itself installed easily and was recognized in the BIOS right away. No problems w/ the item. Just should've done more research of my own.
good upgrade March 7, 2010 Jared B. Jensen (Jared) good upgrade for cheap.... i found it very easy to install on my acer took maby five min. but make sure you use a really tiny screw driver or you will strip the screws.
It never hurts to add more ram. March 6, 2010 Jordi Babbel (Nor Cal) I bought a Lenovo S10 and have had it over a year now. I bought this ram upgrade at the same time I bought my Lenovo and I'm very pleased. Two of my friends have Lenovo S10's (stock with 1GB of ram) and their's seem noticeably slower then my mine (I have 2GB). Ram is probably the cheapest upgrade to make your computer (or netbook) quicker. Just make sure there is a ram access door on the bottom of your laptop or netbook. And that your laptop or netbook with it's operating system that's installed can support more ram.
work fine with my laptop HP dv6500T (dv6663ca) March 5, 2010 Ron (NC) I used crucial software to check my machine, once I knew what kind of memory I needed, I decided to buy it with Amazon because it was cheaper than at crucial website.
Crucial 2 GB Acer Aspire Netbook Memory February 28, 2010 Gloria from Victoria (Victoria, TX) This memory shipped fast, was well packaged and works great in my computer. I couldn't get the screw off the back of my computer to install the memory so Best Buy's Geek Squad installed it for free as a courtesy. You just click and pop it in. It works so quickly and made my computer run faster. Definitely worth the upgrade on a 1 GB netbook.
